WATERING YOUR LAWN
Grass is like any other plant, it needs water to survive.
Use a sprinkler to water your lawn.
It costs roughly £5 to water 1 inch deep on a 100m2 lawn.
Water your lawn early morning or late in the evening, to avoid evaporation.
Water deeply 2-3 times per week, rather than short daily watering.
Grass needs roughly 1 inch of water per week, all year round.
During the cooler and wetter months, you shouldn't need to water your lawn.
Every lawn will have slightly different soil conditions and therefore may require different amounts of water.
